Description: Made of metal and has a wheel at the front with a diameter of 19cm. The scarifier is 143cm long with two handles that are 136cm long. It has leaf shaped blades of 36cm by 13cm. The back blade is almost heart shape. It has two levers for adjusting the height and depth of the blades. It was drawn behind a horse with a potato molder on it and used to turn the soil around the potatoes and heaping the soil up (molding). Richard Howard used this on his property at Woodsdale.
