Included are The Aboriginal or Flinders Island Chronicle 1836, The Mysterious Rag 1913, Flinders Island News 1939, Island News 1954. Island news is still being published in 2006. In the album are copies of Island News Vol I No1 and No 2, the special Island News Furneaux Bicentenary number, 16/03/1973 (a copy of which is buried in the Tomb of History outside the Council Chambers), Island News Ruby edition Vol 81 No 14 1994, Some photocopied press cuttings about Island News and the volunteer workers and editors are also in the album as are some souvenirs of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and an Island News Xmas card not dated.
