Description: A decorated brass lantern frame hexagonal in shape; each vertical stanchion terminates in a finial. The glass panels within this frame enclose a central brass oil lamp with extended glass chimney which sits on a circular glass base. The lantern is suspended from the ceiling by a brass pole also terminating in a finial. Listed in the "Inventory of Heirlooms under the will of the late Thomas Archer Esq."
